We are Adi Yair and Tomer Zmora, a young, Jerusalem based artist, a couple who graduated from Bezalel Academy. This exhibition took place in a Gallery called ORANGERIE in Munich.

the exhibition included a series of work that exposes Jerusalem as an eclectic place that contains a huge diversity of cultures, spaces, and mindsets.

As two artists from different fields, we chose to reflect on our home, Jerusalem, from a different perspective. and decided to reveal places that are not obviously identified with this city.

we worked in two layers, photography and weaving.

The photography, which is created by a digital kind of sewing, reveals a new perspective by disrupting the original image and eliminating its connection to time and place. By weaving into the photos we fused historical places and religious aspects of Jerusalem which gives the spectator a fictitious sense of reality.
